June 14 - Day 10 of our journey- Worms
We woke up at the small Holiday Inn Express to a traditional German breakfast which consisted of sliced meat, bread, jam, coffee, and cheese with a little bit of fruit and yogurt. William didn't think the selections were not that great, and William has made it clear he does not like the German breakfast but I enjoyed them. W
e were in constant contact with Win at this point and we were able to decide to go to either Munich or Frankfurt to pick him up. He had a little cell phone that he could text and call us on. Since we got that out of the way, we decided to make the trip to Worms to see the church where Martin Luther took a stand against the Catholic Church. From Worms, we decided to go to Ramstein to see if we could stay at the base. There was no room at the base so we went to the village of Ramstein and we found an amazing little hotel called “Hotel Anna.” It was a great traditional hotel that was somewhat ironically run by an Italian woman. We loved it and felt so at home. We were so thankful for this hotel and the hospitality shown to us. We explored the village of Ramstein that night and ate a delicious dinner at the hotel. We slept great that night with an amazing place that was just too good to be true. For ninety euros, we were able to stay in three different bedrooms.
